Vail Lake in Temecula, California, is RV camping site in the KOA network of RV camping sites. In a previous post, we mentioned our stay at Lake Skinner, Winchester, California, which is at west end of the Temecula wineries. Vail Lake is on the eastern end of the Temecula wineries, and it is right off of Highway 79, where so many wineries are centrally located.
RV Camping at Vail Lake was very pleasant, and pretty much what you’d expect at a KOA campground. The pools were very nice and clean. We did travel during the COVID 19 crisis, so the pool time had to be booked in the morning, and it was limited to ten people per hour.
